VFD Commissioner Certification Training

 

Extend warranty by attending the Johnson Controls Series II hands-on Variable Speed Drive Commissioning Certification Training.

This course provides factory-authorized certification of personnel responsible for commissioning the Johnson Controls VSD Series II product line. Certified drive start-up provides warranty extension to 60 months. The course will provide participants with the necessary theory and hands-on labs for commissioning and servicing of Johnson Controls VSD Series II variable frequency drives.

Upon completion of this training, participants are certified in:

  • Equipment Installation, Wiring and Start-Up
  • Drive Application Review
  • Parameter Configuration and Quick Start Wizard for HVAC
  • VFD Troubleshooting and Repair

Although training focuses on Series II drives, knowledge gained can be used with other manufacturer drives.

Prerequistes:

Students will be supplied with pre-course study material – and are responsible to bring their own PC equipped with Windows 7.0 and an Ethernet port.

Cost:  $650.00 per person, HST extra.

Fee includes 2 days of training, materials, light lunch and refreshments PLUS a programming cable to access drives for programming and service.

Training equipment:

VSD training demo units and tools are supplied during the class.  A programming cable to access VSD drives for programming and service.
